Course Description:

This course is a blended learning program that engages teachers to learn more about web 2.0 tools that are changing the way teachers teach and students learn. The course will provide training on new technology available at Autrey Mill. Also, the course will highlight technology “things” and discovery exercises to help teachers embrace blogging, cloud services, Google Drive, tagging, web applications, and media editing. Participants will be evaluated on the Mastery Verification Rubric a upon completion of course to be eligible for PLUs.

2. Log into your @ammslions.org account 

**Email Andrea Rioux if you need your password**

  • Go to Google.com
  • Click the blue Sign In button in the upper right corner. (if you are already logged into a personal account, log out and sign into this account.) 
  • Must type out entire email address (EX: msrioux@ammslions.org) 

 

3. Register for 3 PLUs

*Only necessary if you plan to take the entire course. The course is 15hrs. face-to-face every other week and 15hrs. online. The required sessions count toward the PLUs.

  • log in to Fulton Schools Employee Portal
  • Select the PD 360 icon
  • Select Resources in the upper left corner 
  • Select the Learning Targets icon 
  • Select Catalog
  • Select View All in the upper right corner 
  • Change the drop down box to Autrey Mill MS 
  • Click Register for Technology Discovery at AMMS 2014-15
